Dear Performers,
On behalf of the board of Saskatoon Summer Players, I must regretfully inform you of our decison to cancel the summer production. Following the recommendation of director, Ian Nelson, and after extensive consideration, we have decided to cancel the mounting of "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying". This decision was not reached lightly, and was concluded as a result of challenges faced both in production and in casting for specific demographics (e.g. older adult males).
I must stress that the audition selection committee was thoroughly impressed with those who auditioned, and we were especially gratified to see many new, young, talented people volunteering to join the Saskatoon Summer Players' family. We are heartily disappointed that this particular musical will not be mounted, but we sincerely hope that you will consider auditioning for us again someday, and that we will be able to put on another fantastic show together in the near future.
Thank you once again for auditioning for Saskatoon Summer Players and for offering to volunteer your time for the benefit of community musical theatre.
Best wishes for a great summer,
Brennan Richardson
Vice-President, Saskatoon Summer Players
